As of August 2011, the SQIP patent sequence database has been temporarily retired.

Uptake of the service was not sufficient to support the effort required to maintain the sequence database.

 

Our hope is to relaunch the service in early 2012, with a more efficient backend pipeline for extracting sequences from the patent literature and more extensive functions for searching the text of related patents.
